Tourgh is a travel and tour discovery platform developed and operated by Tetrasoft Technology. The app allows users to discover, plan, and experience tours, travel itineraries, and points of interest around the world.

As the data controller, Tetrasoft Technology is responsible for the personal data you provide through Tourgh. This policy applies to:

• The Tourgh mobile application (iOS & Android)
• The Tourgh web application
• All related services, APIs, and integrations operated by Tetrasoft Technology in connection with Tourgh

Data We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of Tourgh, and data from third-party sources.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data such as health information, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or financial account credentials beyond what is necessary for payment processing.

How We Use Your Data

We use your personal information only for legitimate purposes and where we have a lawful basis to do so. Our uses include:

• Providing the service: Creating and managing your account, delivering tour content, processing bookings, and facilitating payments.
• Personalisation: Recommending tours, destinations, and content relevant to your stated interests and usage patterns.
• Navigation & location features: Powering in-app maps, nearby tour discovery, and turn-by-turn guidance (only when you grant location permission).
• Communications: Sending booking confirmations, service updates, customer support responses, and (where you opt in) marketing emails.
• Analytics & improvement: Understanding how users interact with Tourgh to fix bugs, improve features, and inform product decisions.
• Safety & fraud prevention: Detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activity, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
• Legal obligations: Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests from public authorities.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Sharing & Disclosure

We may share your data with trusted third parties in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: Cloud hosting providers, payment processors, analytics platforms, and customer support tools that process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
• Tour operators & partners: When you book a tour, we share the necessary booking details (name, contact, booking reference) with the relevant tour operator to fulfil your reservation.
• Business transfers: If Tetrasoft Technology undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent in-app notice in advance.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose your data when required by law, legal process, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tetrasoft Technology, our users, or the public.
• Aggregated data: We may share anonymised, aggregated, or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you for research, analysis, or marketing purposes.

All third-party service providers are contractually bound to use your data only for the purposes we specify and to apply appropriate security measures.

Location Data

Tourgh is a location-aware application. We may request access to your device's precise or approximate location to power core features including:

• Discovering tours and points of interest near you
• Providing turn-by-turn navigation during a tour
• Showing your position on in-app maps
• Recommending relevant content based on your region

Permission model: Location access is always requested explicitly. You may grant "While Using the App" or "Always" access on mobile; we recommend "While Using the App" for most use cases. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings.

If you deny location access, Tourgh will continue to function with reduced features — you can still browse and book tours manually by searching your destination.

We do not track your precise location in the background without your explicit consent, and we do not sell location data to advertisers or data brokers.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

The Tourgh web application uses cookies and similar technologies. Our mobile app uses equivalent device-based identifiers. These fall into three categories:

• Essential cookies: Required for the site to function — session management, authentication, and security. These cannot be disabled.
• Analytics cookies: Used to understand how visitors use Tourgh (e.g., pages visited, time on site). We use these to improve the product. You may opt out via our cookie banner or browser settings.
• Preference cookies: Remember your settings like language, currency, and display preferences. Disabling these may affect your experience.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. You can manage or withdraw cookie consent at any time via the settings in your Tourgh account or your browser's cookie controls.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.

• Active accounts: Data is retained for the lifetime of your account plus 30 days after deletion to allow account recovery.
• Booking & transaction records: Retained for up to 7 years to comply with financial and tax regulations.
• Usage and analytics data: Retained in aggregated, anonymised form for up to 24 months.
• Support correspondence: Retained for 2 years after your last interaction.
• Legal holds: Data subject to active legal proceedings is retained until the matter is resolved.

When your data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised in accordance with our internal data lifecycle policies.

Security

We take the security of your personal data seriously and implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures, including:

• Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2+) for all data in transit
• AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest
• Bcrypt hashing for stored passwords
• Role-based access controls limiting employee access to personal data
• Regular security assessments and penetration testing
• Incident response procedures and breach notification protocols

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use Tourgh at your own risk in this regard.

Children's Privacy

Tourgh is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under the applicable age threshold without verifiable parental consent, we will take prompt steps to delete that information. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

If you are located in the UK or EEA and are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority — in the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, the right to opt out of its sale (we do not sell personal information), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. International Data Transfers

Tetrasoft Technology is based in the United Kingdom. Your personal data may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside of the UK and European Economic Area (EEA), including countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country.

Where we transfer data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place including:

• UK International Data Transfer Agreements (IDTA) or EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
• Transfers to countries with an adequacy decision from the UK ICO or European Commission

Your continued use of Tourgh after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree to the revised policy, please delete your account and discontinue use.
